Hair metal ? You have got to be fucking joking. I will take it you are as I detest everything that hair metal ever stood for, I have had a hatred for hair metal since you were pooing your pants and drinking from your mothers tittie.

I don't think I have heard I'm a robot but I can't be sure

I have been into the cooper temple clause for a couple of years, I have seen them live as well i own a couple of their albums, yep they are great.

I like the dirtbombs and I am pretty sure I have heard the stills and the "you will you want" song.

I don't think I have heard warlock or harry potters fave band, I will check them out once you give me a review of the neurosis, cop shoot cop and alice donut.

So far of the bands that I have heard that you mentioned I think the ones that I mentioned are much more ground breaking/cutting edge/original and thus rad.

except for possibly the cooper temple clause, but then again I have probably been into them for longer than you. Am I sounding like a pretentious asshole ?

The Zutons are pretty cool... Check The Coral if you like them... More or less same sound, but a little older...

New names? well I haven't been following everything as closely as usually, but I'll try...
Feist: alt.pop... mixes 50's pop style with some sparse electronica and has a fantastic voice
CocoRosie: alt.pop/america... two weird sisters who sing a little out of key and sound very lo-fi, but are extremely good...
Eh can't exactly think of anything else for now...

Btw Black Dog if you dislike Winoforever so much (which is your good right) why don't you keep away from her threads then? those flame wars are only funny for a while...
