Hello, first post from me here but hopefully not the last one

I have as the title says an Audigy 2 soundcard and the Creative Inspire 6700 6.1.
I can view DVDs with surround sound, no problem at all and I can listen to music BUT when I listen to music the surround sound is still there(without support from the songs of course).

How do I turn off the surround sound or pump up the volume on the rear speakers?
What I want is all 6 satellites to play at the same volume, atm the rear ones are MUCH lower than the front and center speakers(typical surround sound).

Hope someone knows how to fix this.
