aphex twin

ok, i was browsing through cds at a cd store and listening to some at one of those convenient scaning/listening stations, and i came across an aphex twin cd (drukqs). i fell in love, it's such great stuff, but i've never heard of aphex twin before. anyone here have any info?

wow... he's like the king grandaddy of IDM... forgivable if you've never really gotten into electronic music... if not... it's like being a rock fan and not knowing who led zeppelin is...

personally my favorite aphex twin disc is 'i care because you do'

and if you've only ever heard his music... just wait until you see one of his music videos

electronic music is damn intricate. i would start with Aphex Twin, Autechre, Chris Clark and so on. when finished, add some salt.

Richard D. James is his best album IMO...really good. He has great video clips too!

i luv em, and i know that they have been around for long, but i have no idea if they are like Led Zep in Rock.

Yea, Richard D.James is impressive to me too.
The first song from this album that i heard was "Come to daddy" which i didn't like that much. Yet, i'm happy that i have brought this album, i luv all the other songs. They are all catchy and upbeating.
They get techno a betta recognition. A band that cannot be missed.
