Looking for info...

I know this is most likely a lost cause, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a way that I could find out the amount of Electronica records sold in the US either monthly or yearly. I appreciate any advice and thank you for your time!

in the US? in this age of downloading and file sharing (not to mention the market in the US for electronic music), I think it would almost be impossible to find out, and I highly doubt the music business would even care since it's not marketable to them, sorry.

I mean vinyl sold from record stores like satellite or release. Anyway, I know it's pretty much impossible to find out, but was hoping to maybe find some insight. Thanks for the response.

i wonder how the general flow of income is for the average electronic musician. suppose Tim Hecker or even someone like Jimmy Edgar for instance..
