Inspired by a comment in another thread, what are your top three ska bands? I am going to do it like this, but do what you want;

Reel Big Fish

Trad Ska
The Maytals
Desmond Dekker and the Aces
The Skatalites

slow:
Slackers
Pietasters
The Specials

(i decided just to do fast and slow and not trad and 3rd wave....i know its not very specific)
my opions is based more on live shows than recordings...except the specials...i wasnt able to seem them

The selecter and the beat are playing near me. I doubt any of my mates want to go though, and their gigs can get pretty rough...

I posted about them on another thread but have to mention them again as my top 3rd wave ska band EVER
my top 3 first/2nd wave r Skatalites, Specials and Selecter

third wave bands: SKANKt, Mad Caddies and Reel Big Fish who used to be good but aren't any more cuz they sold out on their latest album majorly!

the only one I'm really excited about anymore is The Aquabats!!
If there was any justice in the world they would be Bigger than KISS!!
