mushroomhead is slipknot wannabe, so i voted for slipknot.
but they both suck imo, too repetitive.
slipknot becomes all trendy and pop now, they are no betta than limp bizkit

I dont really listen to that type of music but i would have to say that mushroomhead are alot better than slipknot, mushroomhead have some good ideas. I actually quite enjoyed their xx album which i didnt think i would! Although maybe if mushroomhead had been overplayed like slipknot, then they may seem repetitive too!

Mushroomhead is not a Slipknot wannabe. Just because they both wear masks doesn't make them the same. They came out at about the same time (both made their first cuts in 1993). I don't think the masks were related. Musically, while they are similar, are also very different. Slipknot is a lot more shock-style metal, while Mushroomhead is more expiramental.

You have to do your reserch. Mushroomhead started the band and started wearing masks before Slipknot was formed. They both have very different music and mushroomhead originally had 9 members. The fue originally started between a fight between Mushroomhead fans and Slipknot fans. They have never been connected in any way before the fued started. And for people who think Mushroomhead is copying of of Slipknot are thinking that because Mushroomhead was signed second. If you reserch the facts, the only thing that is the same between the bands are the masks and 8 members. I like them both and you can only judge them if you like rapcore (Slipknot) and goth-industral (Mushroomhead) so you can only judge them on there MUSIC!!!!!!........retards

neither are origonal in anyway, so who cares. i honestly think the fans care more about the masks than their so called music. as far as the music goes, ill take a woman giving birth over it. im surprised the fad hasnt worn off yet. its a damn gimmik.
