too many good songs had to be left off because of size...if I was to ever make a real "best of' album it would be an mp3 cd containing EVERY mogwai track...but this will do i suppose =]
My B-Sides compilation has no live tracks (except for HIV Baby, which is noticably edited when you realize it fades out at the end instead of going back to the roar of the audience). As for their live tracks that I've heard, I don't think they sound all that good, but that's just me.

yeah last time i read through the hitch hiker's guide to the galaxy i kept noticing all these elements that radiohead ended up using. marvin the paranoid android. the karma police. zaphod beeblebrox screaming 'OK Computer!' when it wasn't exactly co-operating with him. oddly enough i also seem to remember an interview with thom yorke where he pretty much expressed the same idea/situation in regards to choosing the album title. i guess the band didn't want to say where most of it really came from
I read that book a couple of years ago, so I don't entirely remember all of those things, but they sort of ring a bell. Is there a thread for songs named after stuff in books?
