Mostly wrong, but I guess that's sort of the point to punk, so I went for "100% punk rocker" too.

GG Allin and the Murder Junkies had many albums. The early ones are actually quite together and have some great songs on them. The later albums....hmmm yes I wouldn't recommend them as he really lost it on the final few albums before he died.

I would definately recommend the DVD/Video Hated: GG Allin and the murder junkies
check out the link and read some of the reviews.

until you see GG in concert you have not seen how dirty and full on punk rock n' roll can get.

I love that movie Hated. shit, when I was in college, we(spectrum film committee of the student activities center) curated that movie and showed it in the campus theatre. oh yeah! I did the flyers to promote the movie too. still have some flyers left at home.

hey, tanjello, does the DVD have the funeral footage? if it doesn't, I am not gonna bother to buy it.

however, I am kinda disappointed that the director Todd Philips went on to do Road Trips, Old School those kind of movies...

yes, but he was a funny asshole. I rather watch him than George Kasdanza in Seinfeld.

by the way, I don't have any of GG Allin's albums. I don't think I care for his music all that much. it is okay once in a while. but I do want to own that documentary on DVD if it has the funeral footage.

I mentioned this somewhere before, but I am gonna say it again.

I almost went to his concert when I was in Kansas years ago. but he got arrested in another town so the show in kansas got cancelled. and after that, I never got a chance to see him in concert cause he was freaking dead.
