This was something I was wondering about. Who is the best guitarist ever? Your opinion.

Wylde wasn't even the best 'Ozzy guitarist'. My pick, assuming we are talking about rock, would be Jimi Hendrix of course.

Slash from Guns n' Roses, shortly to appear in Velvet Revolver. For me he is the most 'orchestral' of guitar players.

For the record, Zakk Wylde isn't the best guitarist, by far, I am just a fan of his music. Slash, Joe Perry, Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B. King, and Dave Lee Roth are much better than him, just to mention a few.

David Lee Roth IS A GUITARIST??? Do you mean Eddie Van Halen?
For the record, I like Wylde as well. He is one of the best current guitarists nowadays.

Gotta go with Jimi on this one... with BB up there as well.
Stevie Ray Vaughan... interesting choice. I love his version of "Little Wing"
