The Look Of Love

Hey, I'm looking for a particular version of Burt Bacharach's song "The Look of Love"

It has a femal singer, thin high voice, and a very -very- sparse keyboard. A saxophone also comes in at the very end and plays the chorus simply, over the same sparse piano track.

Any Ideas?

Are you sure it's not the Dusty Springfield original version?

It may be... I've only heard a couple versions of it, fairly recent ones. I'll have a look.

Yeah, whipped out the bacharach boxed set. Not dusty's version. When I say sparse piano, I mean there hardly is one. The version I'm looking for has no drums, bass, etc. Most of it is just the vocal track.

Try Susanna Hoffs. It's featured on the Austin Powers soundtrack.

Nope. I found it though. It's a remix of Dusty Springfields version, but nearly all of the instrumentals tracks are mixed out. Pretty sweet. Thanks for trying.
