Finger Tapping
Hey everyone, how do you finger tap, I can't really get it down very well, but I want to so I can kick come Eddie Van Halen solos, so it'd be great if you could help me out.

Finger Tapping is pretty much what you would expect, you just tap the string with your finger. No pick is involved. Just play around with it for a bit and you'll get the hang of it, a good song to try to play would be the tapped part at the beginning of the Crazy Train solo.

It's not too dreadfully hard, the worst part is getting the coordination down, tapping in a pattern instead of a random sequence.

Finger tapping isn't hard, it just seems that way. I would practice on Eddie's Eruption solo, it's really easy.
