completely off topic, but oh well:
So why don't you have Haakon change your user name to Josh...it'd be less complicated!

Coil wins over Einsturzende Neubauten by a nose. I have a personal bias in favor of Coil.
IMH, RevCo doesn't even belong on the list. I liked their first album, "Big Sexy Land," and the single "You Often Forget," but then the drugs and the partying became more important than the music. RevCo belongs on the list of "Obnoxious Piece of Sh*t Al Jourgensen Projects."
What is "Industrial" anyway? It is a term, to quote Coil, "stolen and contaminated." I said on another thread how disgusted I got with Ministry and Nine Inch Nails becoming synonymous with Industrial music.
You could consider Zoviet France, Current 93, or Nurse With Wound "Industrial," but these artists put out much music that defies the label. Legendary Pink Dots are my favorite band, but they only have selected tracks you could call Industrial. What does it matter? Why call them anything? What makes these artists so great is their spirit of freedom, diversity, experiment, and adventure.
I still call '80s groups such as Front 242, Borghesia, and Click Click "Industrial," but qualify it as "Industrial Dance." Same with Chris & Cosey and Cabaret Voltaire in the '80s. Saying it's dance music is not necessarily pejorative to me. It is to some people. It's the lingering influence of the "Disco Sucks" movement of the late '70s. Not all disco sucked, but most did.
Anyway, categorization is a necessary evil.

I like Throbbing Gristle too, and I'm not old. Well, college kids might think I'm old, but they don't know yet how fast fifteen years goes by!
To me, T.G., can also stand for The Tear Garden, the marriage of The Legendary Pink Dots and Skinny Puppy I love so well. Actually, Edward Ka Spel is the biggest influence on the project, next is cEvin Key, my favorite Puppy.

Personally, I'm just disappointed by the lack of love for Current 93 and Clock DVA, who I'd have slugging it out for top spot, with Coil coming in a close third, and LPD hanging out in fourth, oblivious to what everyone else was doing.

If you wanna ride, don't ride the white horse.
Oh, wait a minute, that was Laid Back, not Laibach.
My two favorites by Laibach are
"Life is Life"
Originally "Live is Life" by the '80s Austrian group Opus. Laibach twisted into what sounds like a neo-Nazi anthem.
"Across the Universe"
from the Let It Be cover album. Completely uncharacteristic of Laibach, very sweet female vocals with a harpsichord tinkle. Good enough to rival the original.
The rest of that record is grotesque beyond the intended grotesquery.
