Evan Dando/Moldy Peaches

Evan Dando- I've recently fallen in love with his track "waking up", he's never really been on my radar as i was never a fan of the lemonheads. just wanted to know if anyone has heard the album and what did you think of it?

Moldy Peaches- I've recently fallen in love with their track "county fair", they've never really been on my radar so i'm not very clued up. just wanted to know if anyone has heard the album and what did you think of it?

I'm a big fan of the moldy peaches. Their first album "The Moldy Peaches" may have redefined lo-fi (it's production values were lacking). Their songs are a bit odd and quite a bit vulgar, but I love it. It's the type of music you'll either love or hate.

I don't own Dando's latest album, but I've heard "hard drive", "all my life" and a few others and these songs are just great... btw he's done a cover of ABBA's "knowing me, knowing you", you can find it on soulseek

I don't know the Moldy Peaches that well... I've heard a few songs, some of them were nice, some of them seemed to be more about the silliness than about the music...
Btw check out Moldy Peach Adam Green's latest solo effort too, it's sort of 70's pop in the way of Lee Hazlewood, sounds quite serious, but the lyrics are hilarious sometimes, check the song "Jessica Simpson" The other Peach, Kimya Dawson has also a few solo albums out, but I haven't heard any of that, is more lo-fi I think...

You gotta see the Moldy Peaches live, if you haven't already or if they haven't broken up. They're so weird its funny and even hearing that tune "NYC is like a graveyard" right after 9/11 is kind of twisted funny too.

Their first album "The Moldy Peaches"

How many albums do they have out? I have the self titled one (Which is brilliant), and also their other album released called 'Unreleased Cutz and Live Jamz 1994-2002', which is 2 discs, but i didn't think (Or have seen here anyway) any other albums of theres?

And ye, Adam Greens solo album is top too.
