Yeah, I've recently moved from iTunes to Toast 6 Platinum. Toast kicks some ass. I also like the sound of the word... Toast... Toast...

hey gang I'm new to the site but I have a trying question. I recently received a computer about 3 months ago and was downloading free music and I share the computer with 4 other people in the home, lately the thing has been slowing down so I so=called emptied the music files and deleted most files out of the computer but they are still there and it got slower so I ran a scan I got some infected files plus I can't burn any music because everytime I try it constantly stops the scan does anyone have a cheap (preferably free) solution. I thought I was rid of the files but I guess I'm not also is there any way to make my computer load faster??

perhaps first check what format those songs are?, mp3 or wma?
if mp3 try to burn it with roxios nero, i experinced troubles with windows media player and apple itunes.
if yer files are wma, delete them, they are probably copyright protected.
There can be several things why yer computer slows down, perhaps format yer computer and install windows again, download all security patches, a virus scanner and a firewall, and dont install kazaa or yer computer will be full of viruses.
