help recording my song

i have been using fruity loops 4 studio for a while and recording has been my main problem. basically i record loops into a 3-6 minute song. the thing is, i just use my webcam mic to record it. so my question is, how do i just record it right there within FL? the full song. please help. thanks

Like I said in the other forum... I'll say it again for future reference...

Make sure 'song' (not 'loop') is selected (this is next to the play button), then click on File, then Export.

Yes... press the Rec button before you press play, then twiddle your knobs throughout the song. If you've done it right, it will record what you've done, and wha la, everytime you play the song the knobs will automatically 'twist' themselves. You can do this as many times as you want.

No, it'll do the whole song, if you make sure SONG is selected before you press record. This of course may not work at all if you have an earlier version of FL's.

Also do the recording in a free Pattern, and not where something else is already playing.

i suggest you get Acid 4.0. it's highly accessible and user friendly for those who are just starting out..such as myself. one can actually just learn by doing. trial and error is the way to learn!
