just a warning though, it goes way way ott and begins to sound pantomime-y at moments, imo it's their worst album

I only own the first album and I think that it's just a collection of moderate britpop/rock songs, "Muscle Museum" is a nice enjoyable track, but it's overall quite boring, I think...
I listened to Origin of Symmetry a few times and it has definitely the better tracks, though there are some annoying ones too, haven't heard the latest one and well I don't really plan to...

seriously, like, really? i think origin was a great follow-up to showbiz. whereas you can listen to showbiz once or twice, it get's boooooring after a few. origin on the other hand, you can listen to it over and over and alway pick up something new from the songs. i'm not saying it's a perfect album but i think it is their best. absolution is a mix between the two, i think, which makes it sort of stagnant.
origin really tweaked up showbiz and has a lot more style and feeling to it.

muse hav one good song- one good song that they have continuously recycled and tweaked here and there to make a career out of. i'll never understand the credit they get- even the modest credit.
Showbiz is one the most overrated albums of the nineties- especially in Britain.
Absolution is gettin a huge push over here in NA and past 'Hysteria' [the best version of that one good song] it's weak. ihav no clue how an album with a lead single as plainly awful as 'Time Is Running Out' can sell so well.

im not sayin that other people cant like it- they obviously do- it still doesnt change the fact that it sucks and iwill always be amazed by how many people can like songs that suck as much as that one does.
noticed another deletion from haakon that was likely an arrow aimed at me. if yure readin this haak, ihope yure not doin this for mysake- im quite alright with the feeble attacks. its makin me wonder what exactly the content was to make it necessary to remove...
