I like both Hendrix and Page, but come on, Hendrix destroys Page. Hendrix's stuff is just...better. You don't seen any 9th graders with their strats bustin out Little Wing, you see them playing Immigrant Song or Stairway to Heaven. Hendrix is far superior in my opinion.

Page's guitar parts are much easier to play, but I don't know if simplicity makes him inferior to Hendrix. Complexity is definitely one criteria to judge, but my vote goes to Hendrix based on the music.

Now before I say this, let me set it straight that I'm a big fan of both Page and Hendrix. As far as overall musical talent goes Page wins in my book. But when it comes to the music, he still wins, with very few exceptions almost all of Hendrix songs are simple, repetitive, primitive numbers with the focus on Hendrix's fills and solos. Page however was more capable of writing more entertaining, balanced, and generally superior (IMO) music with all the same power and majesty of any Hendrix work. And this may sound a little sacreligious but I'm much more impressed with Page's guitar style than Hendrix's, Hendrix may have had more showmanship, more flashy tricks, but when it comes down to actually playing Page could do more musically. Hendrix was an icon, but Page was an artist. So, lastly, before the flaming begins, let me say I'm very familiar with both of them, and I enjoy them equally.

You can't compare them, they were both gods in they're fields of rock, but I went with Jimi on this one because he used a better combination of sounds and he had a wider range, pyschedelia rock, metal, classic rock, and he even rocked out on sitar....but to choose between them is mean.

I can imagine this... It would be like that video for Come With Me. Except both Page and Hendrix would be hundreds of feet tall.
Fighting in the style of them shitty Power Rangers things, knocking over skyscrapers and stuff, swinging their guitars at each other...
(Apologies. I am extremely hungover.)
