Best music Scene

Thought about this random question....

But what place, city, state, town, or whatever do u think has the best music scene, or just like single music scene that just owns the rest up?

thanks!

This is pretty vague, location-wise, but Sweden's metal scene is hard to beat.

Toronto [and the surrounding area] has been producing a lot of talent of late:

Broken Social Scene
The Constantines
The Deadly Snakes
The Hidden Cameras
Maybrick
Metric [make their home in L.A. now ithink]
Stars [think they hav connection to Montreal as well]
and more icant think of...

New York i have to say cannot be surpassed when it comes to the music scene, expecially undergroud metal and hip-hop "clubs" to so speak.
