Hoagy Carmichael
Does anyone here like Hoagy Carmichael? In the Ian Fleming Bond novels he was the description someone gave of who Bond resembled. Can people here tell me anything about him? One of his most famous songs is I think 'Stardust'.

in the 30's, he recorded georgia on my mind, rocking chair and lazy river. Other artists heard the new songs and within a year Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and the Dorsey brothers had recorded their own versions and were performing them on the new hot medium, radio. Hoagy Carmichael himself was still barely known to the public, but they were hearing and singing his songs. He bacame wellknown in the 40's, and in the 50's he won an oscar. He also hosted his own tv show.
I really like the song heart and soul, really nice record!
