Mixer Input

Here is my situation.... my brother came back home and took his mixer which is a Allen&Heath Xone:62 back to california to with him...and i was wondering since all the mixers that i have ever used were Allen&Heath, and a vestax for scratching, if i was missing out on a really sweet mixer that hasnt been brought to my attention

just wondering your input before i go out and buy another Allen&Heath since i really likes the mixer alot. Thanks

Depends on your preferences. I've never heard of Allen&Heath before, so that gives some clue to as to it's popularity... my advice is to shop around as much as possible. Check out Stanton for premium quality mixers, for both the DJ and the sound techie. For the other end of the spectrum, Behringger make really cheap 8 track mixers, and even a few cheaper DJ mixers.

If you could provide me with some more detail of what you're after, I can help you a bit more.

allen and heath are fairly well known on the professional engineer circuit, but its well worth looking for other options. berigner desks are very reliable and pretty easy to use too as well as being affordable. i would say dont look at any desk made by yamaha because they are not user friendly in the slightest!
