From what is considered the greatest live peformance in Jazz. The Massey Hall Concert, Toronto: Bud Powell, Charles Mingus, Max Roach, Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker. Bird used a plastic alto that night.

2 fingers, well, I mean only the first two fingers could run on the fingerboard.
But if you have the chance to watch the last DVD of Stéphane Grappelli, you'll be able to
see that he used the two other fingers to play chords. These two were almost paralyzed.

You know how they do that effect (or at least how i do it) - you put the camera on slow exposure and move it around, basically!
