the first few tracks are probably related somewhat to his programming on Lunatic Harness, but after that, I think it's pretty seminal, not great at all...I wish I could explain something that I didn't like, but I cannot hehe

You've been listening to a lot of artists on expanding recently, so honestly, I can't comment on that one. I'll check it out though because I'm a fan of the majority of the output on the label.

ive been trying to get this album for quite some time, but i have had no luck with it. Expanding just seems to have a lot of nicely structured material. when i heard Cathode's stuff i had to hear everything i could on the label.

here's some info to spark some interest:

"Expanding enhance their reputation even further by releasing the first great album of the year. An exceptional blend of sweet melodies, very subtle glitch percussion and atmospheric ambience. Good artwork too. Trust me, this is special!" -smallfish

mmm propaganda...

both "Free Time" and "Polytuft-Tech" have an ambient glitch IDM aspect to them. Both are very respectable, although Free Time is the more ambient of the two.
