Well, all that I think is similar is their pace. TC sounds a lot less electronic than Tosca does. On "The Richest Man" they use a lot of horn sounds and that sort of thing. I think TC's earlier discs (The Mirror Conspiracy is a fantastic one) are much more comparable to Tosca.

Looks like Halcyon Days is putting you through the gauntlet.

Coil, ever listen to them? If so, what were your opinions, favorite album etc. If not, I highly suggest them. They've been around for over 20 years, some of the band members were in Throbbing Gristle, which I assume you've heard of. Coil mostly does pretty evil ambient, but there's some more industrial stuff. I've never heard anyone mention them here before, so I thought I'd ask.

yeah, i know all about the whole psychic tv, throbbing gristle, coil connection actually...i think my faves are:

Musick to Play in the Dark vol. 1
Hellraiser Themes
Stolen and Contaminated
American History I-III
Love's Secret Domain

there are a few others that i can't think of right now.

if you like that stuff, you'll probably dig Amon Tobin, Fila Brazillia, Matthew Herbert's Big Band, and Burnt Friedman material...
