No, THAT was sarcasm. What I said before, wasn't.
I'm not the one making cruel comments about something I have no idea of.
I'm referring to the posts before me.
You can't seriously say that Hanson are not good or talented if you think you know something about music. These guys are pure talent that hits you in the face.
But for some strange reason people can't get over the fact that they came out to the music scene as kids... or... is it something about their looks or something even more ridiculous that has nothing to do with music...

Do yourself a favor, stop listining to shitty music and start listening to real music.

Lol... lol... It's THE sentence. That people on the net stick everywhere when someone listens to music they don't prefer. Yep, yep... everyone thinks they have the best taste... everyone thinks they're the smartest... yes, I have heard this before.
If Hanson's music isn't your cup of tea, it's understandable... but to say that they're not real music or something... is just laughable... They're one of the most talented groups out there right now. And well, actually, they've always been. Anyone's who's listened to their albums, can say that calmly. They are REAL music.
You people should get over whatever problems you have with them and listen to their music. Their songs are pearls! But of course, most of you probably haven't heard anything else than Mmmbop... Well, it's not my problem... you're the one who's missing good stuff. They're young and gifted and they will be most probably our music's future, like it or not.
Lol... "start listening to real music"... lol... that's good.

What's this got to do with anything?
I've got a degree too... and I'm also a music critic. Besides that I've been singing in an award-winning choir and bands... listened to so much music in my life...
I think I know a bit about it.
But really... it's got nothing to do with it.
Hanson makes good music and it's plain to hear.

Just for the record, I don't like Hanson. I liked their first stuff AGES ago, when I was into that sort of stuff, but then i discovered real music, and in my life, Hanson do not enter into that equation.

Hey, have any of us heard the new hanson album?
Lol for all we know they might have hooked up with Aphex Twin or the Prodigy, got covered in piercing and tatoos and play Axxe guitars to a massive techno beat...
"Doo wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-waaaaarrrrrrrr
ALL HAIL INDUSTRIAL ROCK HANSON
(just for you who don't realise, ^sarcasm^)

No, actually not.
Their sound now falls somewhere in between Coldplay and Ireland's The Thrills... Lynyrnd Skynyrd and The Beach Boys. Except the songs they write are Hanson songs... that means 10 times better than the stuff any of those bands have ever released.
You should try their new album, sarcasm-boy... or girl... or whoever you are, lol. You might like it.
I kinda agree with AMG... I also gave them 4 out of 5 myself. Their best work is still coming for sure... but Underneath is a very strong album.

Well, well... let me guess... you liked Hanson's earlier stuff when you were 11 and now you're 17 and discovered "REAL" music, hmm... let's say... like Led Zeppelin, right?
Oh, jeez... lol
Anyway, have fun, kids... I have no more time to stick around, work waits (more music reviews to write, lol).
But for the rest who happen to read this thread... I definitely recommend Underneath... cause there is no other album with this kind of sound out right now... it's unique... They've got some sparkling pop in there, some groovy blues and a few quite heavy rockers... and all the way through you get this nice retro-feeling. Songs are more complex, but catchy as always and soulful and of course Hanson's trademark - their harmonies sound as perfect as ever.
Album also has a dvd with making of Underneath and live performances from their acoustic tour (those versions for me sound even better than the ones on the album, cause they really breathe on stage and are technically totally flawless).
