MASSIVE ATTACK is waiting for you. if you haven't experienced them yet, you must. Mezzanine and 100th Window are commendable.

MEzzannie is the only massiev attack that I can handle. I just think that the rest of the stuff is so damn boring...

really? is this what you thought of 100th Window? i guess i could see how this could be. this album is more meditative than Mezzanine. i do not know any of their previous works though.

I completely agree with you there man. I thought 100th window was terrible, along with Zero 7's latest album.

100th Window is actually a favorite album of mine lately. i particularly love its darkness. "Smalltime Shot Away" is quite moving!

i'd have to say 100th Window, but Mezzanine hits harder. i mean, with Angel and tracks of the like, Mezzanine became almost a rock hop trip. 100th Window seems to take you on a darker, smoother ride. definitely more ambience and much more haunting than Mez.

thanks autpt.

I love mezzanine so much that I haven't got 100th window because I am afraid nothing can beat the mezzanine album. plus, 100th window only has one original massive attack member on it.

next time I go to a record store, I definitely will pick up a used copy if I find one.

you are welcome. i understand your worries, but in my opinion, as a novice listener of Massive Attack, and trip-hop in general, i would definitely recommend it to you. it is a much different listen than that of Mezzanine's material. nonetheless, i think it remains to be refreshing.
