RM's Buyer's Guide

Lets use this thread as kind of a buyer's guide for things related with music (cds, music dvds, instruments, etc.). Rate whatever you are going to talk about out of 10, and tell why someone should or shouldn't buy it.

I'll start...

I recently got Soundgarden's LOUDER THAN LOVE, and I strongly suggest it. I give it a 9 out of 10. Its great if you are a big Soundgarden fan(such as myself), or if you like the early "grunge" scene.

I've got something in my front pocket for you
Why don't you reach down in my pocket and see what it is
Then grab onto it, it's just for you
Give a little squeeze and say, "How do you do?"
There's something in my front pocket, There's something in my front pocket,
There's something in my front pocket

OK..I bought the Blind Melon Classic Masters. Its a good Cd I guess. It has a lot of good songs on it but there are better songs that could be on there. But If you like Blind Melon then give it a go. I give it a 7.

Korn Take a look in the mirror 7/10, strong points, but the rap song and the parts in which songs sound the same brings it down a notch.

Just cause someone was talking about it in the electronic thread.

Thievery Corporation: The Richest Man in Babylon

Good Album, with lots of fine tracks and a few great ones [Liberation Front, Heaven's Gonna Burn Your Eyes, Omid (Hope)] A good loungey listen, but I find TC's particular brand of eastern-influenced lounge a little annoying in large doses.

7/10

Suggestion: Buy a cd from the Supperclub series instead (Supperclub: 6 is most recent, Supperclub: Nomads will likely appeal to Thievery fans)
