Tool vs. A Perfect Circle
I know that there are alot of tool fans who resent Maynard's dedication to his newer band, A Perfect Circle. Me, being a fan of Tool first, didn't like the idea of Maynard fronting 2 bands but once they came out with Mer De Noms, I was impressed. I realized that Maynard still had the same goal, he was just trying to spread his word.
Anyway, I want to hear your opinion on whether Maynard should fron two bands. Are you other Tool fans as Jealous as I first was or do you just not like APC's style? Personally, I think they both rock but that's just me. As Maynard frequently says: "Think For Yourself,"

APC is to Tool as Wings were to the Beatles...no freaking contest at all...besides which, Maynard's #3 in terms of "importance" for me ((in Tool)), and as such, I take little interest in his non-Tool outings...Danny and Adam make Tool for me...Maynard and Justin/Paul are nice, but not essential...

Well, Tool has better music and lyrics. But A Perfect Circle has better melody. My opinion about this is that A Perfect Circle may be a lighter side of Tool.
