Tool, without a doubt, is better then APC...
APC is a similar to Tool, without the meaning and but with more recent hype...

Actually if you listen to the lyrics from both bands you can hear lines from other songs repeated (i.e. I don't want to be hostile- Tool, intolerence... I don't want to feel this overwhelming hostility- APC, Orestes) There are a few repeated lines from old Tool songs but the exact phrases don't come to mind. Both bands have a same lyrical meaning in most of their songs, it's just that the music is done by two differant sets of musicians. I think Tool's musicians are more talented in terms of difficulty but APC's musicians are more harmonic. It all depends on what you prefer musically.

Just out of curiosity, and away from the topic, do either of you (Sic Aenima or enlightened08) post on any other forums...? Particuarly Tool related ones...
Oh and on a futher side note, that's not the Tool Homepage that you have linked in your signature enlightened...
