Well, I guess it's clear enough, isn't it? Colour has nothing to do with music.. One can't paint with words either, right. *Attempt to be poetic*
The reason for slight unacceptance among white people is, I think, their little knowledge of hiphop/rap (I've never been able to make a difference in this; isn't rap part of hiphop?). When laymen think of rap, they think of to commercial shit they see on tv. In music video's, rap is usually accompanied with either half-naked women or violence, or both. Also, the negative message of some rappers can offend people and stop them from 'listening in depth'. I'm not saying rap has got to be positive; gangster rap can be great party music...I'm sure it had people killed too, though.
I agree with the people who say that you have to stay true. White boys musn't pretend to be more dangerous than they are by clothing like their favourite thugs. Neither must blacks. Hmm, on the other hand: clothes shouldn't be linked with the way people stand in life. It's just fabric, people; everyone should be free to wear whatever one wants, without being 'biased', you know what I mean. The problem is that most of them who wear it associate it with their idols themselves... You could say wigga's ask for it. I guess.
Again, loving rap doesn't mean you're a wigga. People criticize too much, everyone should stick to his own business.
