Some Good jazz books

so, what can people recommend to me. I've read a few jazz books, but I'm always interested in some more books. I read the biography of Chet Baker, I'm reading a book about Ira Gerswhin, and I read a book about strange fruit. Not that much, I know, but I'm a bookworm, so any recommendations are well appreciated.

I just finished reading a pseudo-biography of Wynton Marsalis called Jazz in the bittersweet blues of life. Its good. There's also a biography of Blue Note records that looks bong. Miles davis bio, the making of Kind Of Blue, and the Pelican guide to jazz is really thorough. I'd like to read a biography of Sarah Vaughan.... anyone heard of or read one?
