The Oxford Companion to Jazz

Does anybody have read this book? :
The Oxford Companion to Jazz by Bill Kirchner

How would you rate it (1..10)?
I need to grow my education to 1% of the gang of 4% out there!

Geoff knows 4% of Satchmo
Seba Aethiad knows 4% of Geoff
And I committed to know 4% of Seba Aethiad
But I demonstrate a big 0%

Thanks,

Moondog

In my book, you're cool !
I'm sure you are better in French than me in English.
But it's radiomute not radiomuette, so I think it's better to use English.

The only universal language existing (thru all time) is Music

there is also a great direct transcription of Kind of Blue distributed by Hal Leonard. there's some nice commentary by Bill Kirchner and i highly recommend it to anyone, even those who might not play an instrument, because it is very supplemental to the listening experience. to see what's actually happening in real-time in notation is very interesting.
