He did his best to get Quincy Jones' credit as producer taken away from him according to Walter Yetnikof,Pres of CBS Records cause he didn't want Jones to share in his glory.

Elvis Presley liked young women.
Michael Jackson likes little boys.

I pick Elvis, I used to love his music when I was a little kid, almost obsessed.

Oh, well what about the likes of Usher, Alicia Keys and even (dread to say it, but best get it over with), Justin Timberlake. To say someone like MJ has not influenced people in music as an artist at the top of the pop and RnB world for the past 30 years is complete rubbish, and you know it.

He never opened any doors for artists like Elvis did...... and you know it too.... (or you must be 15 and naive...)

Here here!

I'm not 15 and I'm not naive. Elvis has been dead since 1977, about the same time that Jackson was becoming a major star in his own right, free from the Jacksons band and moving on to his solo work with Quincy Jones to make the Epic debut solo album 'Off the Wall' in 1979. I'm just saying that there has been a lot of artists that have influnced singers and musicians of today, and in black music especially, Jackson has a greater influence than Presley. Perhaps it is indeed true that the white man would never allow Jackson to be a bigger star than Elvis.

The thing about Quincy Jones is funny because he wouldn't give Jackson credit for co-producing some of the songs on his albums and that may have been where the bitterness came from. Although I think Jones was the guiding influence behind Jackson's talent he didn't want 'Smooth Criminal' to be on the 'Bad' album, showing he wasn't always correct in his assertions of what was best either.
