don't know which songs, but my dad listens to Parachutes by Coldplay.

I try not to play things around my Mom that I'm fairly sure she won't like, so I usually just listen to the Beatles around her.

I played some Bob Dylan around her once. She said something like, "Oooo that crazy Bob Dylan." The way she said it was hilarious, but it seemed like a fairly certain sign that she didnt' enjoy it.

i played immortal techniques "the cause of death" for my mom and now shes all revolutionary...its fucking crazy, man. she used to have blind loyalty towards the country, also known as fascism, but now she knows a little bit more. its tight.

My parents are very much into Classical and Folk and I really enjoy those genres too. I listen to most the music my parents like. I let my Mother and Father check out Burzum- Dauði Baldrs, It´s more Neo-Classical, that´s not that complex. They both find it nice as background music.

My mum was a mod, so Soul and Ska she doesent actually mind. And my dad once commented that the Supremes never mimed their songs, (that might not be true, i dont know) so i presume he has a soft spot for Soul as well.
