my dad listens to nothing but shitty country, not the cool bluegrass stuff. And my mom only owns one cd, the Shrek 2 soundtrack. Pitiful isnt it?

[quote=JimMorrison6727] I told her that the Doors are coming to AZ early next year (thats what one of my online buddies said) and she said I could definetly go to the concert!! QUOTE]

Even if Ian Astbury has been doing a Morrison impression his entire career, it's not exactly The Doors.

Who is drumming these days for this semi tribute band? The last I heard both John Densmore & Stewart Copeland were suing

I try not to play things around my Mom that I'm fairly sure she won't like, so I usually just listen to the Beatles around her.

I played some Bob Dylan around her once. She said something like, "Oooo that crazy Bob Dylan." The way she said it was hilarious, but it seemed like a fairly certain sign that she didnt' enjoy it.

My parents are very much into Classical and Folk and I really enjoy those genres too. I listen to most the music my parents like. I let my Mother and Father check out Burzum- Dauði Baldrs, It´s more Neo-Classical, that´s not that complex. They both find it nice as background music.

My mum was a mod, so Soul and Ska she doesent actually mind. And my dad once commented that the Supremes never mimed their songs, (that might not be true, i dont know) so i presume he has a soft spot for Soul as well.
