Thumbs up

Papa Roach - Last Resort

Keep em coming... Now have 5 hours of music on the radio station.

Also, considering adding some of the Obits of artists that have committed Suicide.

Any thoughts as to what else might be appropriate or nice to have on the site. Feedback is welcome. The website is just starting out and many, many refinements are to come.

I disagree. I don't believe commiting suicide is selfish, cowardly, or an "easy out". Sure usually people are depressed or affected by such environment but isn't that what counts? I think you sissy church people follow your "its not right" shit too much on this one, and the only way you could *ever* know is to hit bottom.

Yea, i'm talkin to you people with happily married parents
You people that had friends.
You people with happy childhoods.
You people who never had a traumatic experience you couldn't talk about.
You people who never felt like a spec because nobody cared.
You people who never experienced true sorrow and loss.
You people.

What in the world makes you think I havn't suffered? Trust me, I know what the bottom looks like.Sounds like you do too, and I'm sorry for that....but to think that your suffering is greater than everybody else is one more form of self-indulgence. To be human is to suffer.Self-pity's not the answer and it only leads to the kind of anger and intolerance you betray in your statement. Who's parents DIDN'T screw them up? Who's friends didn't stab them in the back? Who hasn't been made to feel like a loser? Get over it..stop being a victem. Live.

Hmm, I'll have to go with Metallica's Fade To Black or Ozzy's Suicide Solution. I believe there's a Judas Priest song on the topic, but I can't think of it off the top of my head....

As for suicide itself, I can't say that I've ever been so depressed as to seriously contemplate taking my own life, but I have to agree that it is incredibly selfish. I mean, life is such a wonderful, amazing thing, and to throw that away at your own free will, that's selfish as hell. Just think about all the peope who died way before their time, especially children who died in accidents or from illness, they'd love to be in your shoes, to experience life, and you're willing to just throw it away? Deciding not to live anymore isn't like deciding you don't want your car anymore and are going to sell it, the gift of life is a pretty awesome thing, and you only get one shot.

Just observing your ah...outlook brings one to certain conclusions.

the Cure - 100 Years or anything else from Pornography!

&check out the beautiful lyrics of Smiths' There Is A Light That Never Goes Out:
"...And if a double-decker bus
Crashes into us
To die by your side
Is such a heavenly way to die
And if a ten-ton truck
Kills the both of us
To die by your side
Well, the pleasure - the privilege is mine..."

the accent of icelandic words falls in almost all cases on the first syllable. the exceptions are

1.words that have the negative prefix "ó-" meaning "un-" as in "unwilling" eg óhreinindi
2.words that have the prefix "all-" meaning "rather" or "very" eg allfeginn

in these two cases, the accent falls equally on the first two syllables or mainly on the second syllable.

Angry

Some of the songs that I listen to when I'm depressed are "Adam's Song" by Blink 182 and "She Loves Me Not" by Papa Roach. Another good song that I listen to is "Outside" by Staind. And I think it's extremely rude calling people idiots because they hate the life that they live in, maybe they're sick of always being the laughing stalk at school. Some people are just sick of always going home after school and being alone or something like not having a friend to talk to because the friend died. How would you feel if you were always alone and everybody makes you feel unwelcomed? Actually, I think the people that are stupid are the ones that make people want to commit suicide.
