I enjoy their interpretations...it's a fairly unique album, although I wish they included fewer tracks from "Lateralus" and more from "Aenima", but that's ust me...

...although it's hardly "classical"...the structures have nothing to do w/ classical compositions...it's just alternative metal played by a string group...but I'm just picky. :tongue:

It's something like Apocalyptica then? I had their first cd Plays Metallica By 4 cellos, was not bad, but nothing spectacular either...

Well, not quite...imagine Tool without drums; then have the vocal, bass, & guitar parts played w/ strings...

...that's this album...

...from what I've heard of Apocalyptica, they seem like a sub-standard metal group w/ an average cello player...but it may have been just that album...

Well that Apocalyptica album was Metallica without drums and the vocals and guitars played by cellos, so kind of the same
