'those who tell the yadddayadday shalllive shall yaddayadda die' is not the first EITS album.
the name of their debut is 'how strange, innocence".

ah true again... that's a second miss

I second that Violent Femmes one, but Grandaddy's first one doesn't compare that well to the next one, I think... It's good, but not thàt good, imho

well... for me it's more like the other way around. not that i disagree with your saying that the "sophtware slump" is great. because it is.
"UTWF" is... just a wee bit greater.

Its sad but true: a great many bands never make anything to better their debut. But I think in many cases critics just like to say so (I read somewhere such a thing written about Piper at The Gates of Dawn). Anyway, my money's on Grace or Are You Experienced?, but probably my favourite album ATM is Bring It On by Gomez. I noticed that no-ones mentioned Definately Maybe ... perhaps its something to do with how inexcusibly shit Oasis not-so-later became ... but we all that in our headphones when it came out, did we not?
