weirdo I don't know, but I know that she's quite shy... she doesn't like to give interviews at all and even concerts are difficult for her...

Apparently she ran off stage 20 seconds into a gig which seems quite funny, although I wouldn't be happy if I'd paid to go and see a concert that lasted less than half a minute. BTW anyone who owns 'you are free', isn't 'names' just one of the worst songs you've heard; the drop in quality after 'maybe not' is shocking.

Okay, maybe it's just me, but I would assume that if you are going to become a famous musician you might at least make an effort to NOT BE A WUSS. Sorry, but 20 seconds then *whoosh*? What a rip off.

from what I've heard she doesn't want to be famous at all, they even have to force her to record albums... but I wouldn't be amused if she did that in a show that I attended...

I just got her new album "The Greatest" (it's not a best of, that's just the title of one of the song, a brilliant song about a young boxer btw) and well I'm really liking it! I should finally get those first three-four albums too! (if I have money again and there isn't something I want more then )

I love Cat Power and seen her live three times ive heard all the stuff about her being awkward live but from what ive seen it isn't true, sure she doesn't talk alot inbetween songs but they wer all great gigs and all lasted longer then 20 seconds.
