Gothabilly

Is anyone here familiar with the Gothabilly genre?
I've seen/heard alot of references to psychobilly but not much about this.As you can probably infer, it's a blend of rockabilly w/ goth. Now I know of several bands of this genre, but I should make note of the fact that Bauhaus certainly had a rockabilly sound to some of their songs[passion of lovers, hair on the dog, telegram sam] but thas was long ago. I wonder if there's actually a gothabilly 'scene' out there-I think goth+retro is waaaaaaaaaay cool

yeah, it's kind of scary. I don't really know how it would sound like, seems like a weird combination to me.

Since Gothabilly is technically a Hybrid of Rockabilly and "classic" goth
I should like to mention that Bauhaus, considered to be the 1st true goth band
incorperated the Rockabilly sound into many of their songs[like "Passion of Lovers" for example]

Ok, I found some related pages on the net to the subject.

www.skullyrecords.com
www.gothabilly.net (actually this one sucks, but is has lots of links to some cool pages.)

ooh, this one's just funny http://www.elvisdisease.com/ go to the elvidemic!

Ok, by now, I heard some bands, and I must see I don't see lots of difference with psychobilly here. Probably darker lyrics, and one band (Cryktkeeper five; my fav) use a Addams Family like organ. Maybe that refers to the goth, I don't know. I discovered some new bands that rock, so that's cool. Gothabilly, psychobilly, punkabilly,....guess the differences are very little. Thanx for bringing it up anyway.
