Who is the greatest entertainer ever?

Who would you say is the greatest entertainer of all time in music history? I'll tell you who my choice would be later.

Some of my picks would be Elvis, Frank Sinatra, or Michael Jackson (despite his legal woes).

Greatest entertainer ever? That's a tough one...probably not someone in the rock pantheon...maybe Frank Sinatra or Bing Crosby, I don't know. Maybe the greatest entertainer of all simply hasn't arrived on the scene yet...

In spite of all the show biz slime kissy-huggy crap, Sammy Davis,Jr. was an incredibly talented performer. He had vocal chops better than Sinatra,he was an extraordinary dancer, and a gifted impressionist with a real sense of comic timing.

Some great suggestions so far. I'll add James Brown to the list. Where do you think Jackson got his moves from .

Yes, but he also got them from Jackie Wilson. But he needs new moves. He has been doing the same thing since Thriller. He might be the only one still Moonwalking.
