glad I'm not the only one who thinks that Alice Cooper and Frank Zappa were a MASSIVE influence on a high percentage of the 'alternative' acts

well, manson isnt on the list [hes on my list] and he got his major influences from david bowie and trent reznor. he was also hugely influenced by john lennon, but iwouldnt include john or thebeatles either.

Yeah...my choice is REM. And thats only because I like their music so much and I think that it was the best band for my taste in that list.
