P Diddy
Ok yall, what is up with him? Is he even making music anymore? And who thinks D-A B-A-N-D is just G-A-Y? He's making cars now, goodness gracious!

P Diddy is not so much a music artist as much as a business man. And a damn good one at that. Not many people can take a few radio hits and parlay that into a huge business complete with their own record label and clothing line. The dude rakes in the $$. and well that's pretty much the meausure of how good you are at business.

You know you've got clout when you release the shittiest fashion designs and everyone laps it up like a swimmer in an olympic pool. But he done worked those snivelling NYC ghetto rats in DABAND (especially that chubb one with the bad attitude, got is she ever annoying).

Right...but shouldn't he be making more music instead of all of that?

no... the money is in the merchandise... the music is really just a flashy attention grabber... to get people to intially notice the other stuff... at this point he could probably stop releasing his own music entirely and still be a successful entrepeneur...

P. Diddy is defintley more of a business man than anything. He is pretty bad at rapping and it's not the department where he makes the most money either, so I don't think he's really in any rush to release anything.

He doesn't really do much anymore. I think he just makes randome apearences in other peoples songs and videos. I thnk I saw him in a chingy video or something the other day. He's also had his own "Making the Band" TV show on MTV. The band is kinda lame but the show is funny, basicly cause they fight all the time and Diddy torments them with delusions of grandeur.
I think he's more of a "hip-hop mogul" like Russel Simmons.(who also makes lots of money on clothing)

i always thought he was a producer first, long before he started putting out his own cds. That said, when youre a producer in the rap industry its almost part of the job to just show up with random ad libs and crap on other peoples song... no?

, yeah producers are some of the guys you see getting 5 sec cameo's in music videos. When I first saw a picture of Jazy Phae (producer) I realised I'd seen him in like a dozen videos.
but yeah I beleive Diddy was and still is a producer.
