The Ethiopians are still touring? Jamican bands just never split up do they?

And the more i think about it, the more they are different genres. Second and Third wave ska goes more with punk, if you look for King Prawn in a shop it will be with NoFX etc. So really, all that joins them is the influence and the name. But i still think they belong in the same overall genre as jamaican ska, as a natural progression and another culture's version of the music.

Not to sure I'd call X-Ray ska, though they clearly have some ska influence.--Great band.

there really isnt a differnce.. they were called something aka the specials... then they changed that to the specials aka... and then just the specials
