Tschaikowsky

Just finished listening both the recordings of Tschaikowsky 4th symphony by Riccardo Muti. Neither Philharmonia's nor Philadelphia's is excellent, but the latter is a little better.

Ludwig van Beethoven / Concerto for Piano & Orchestra 1 & 3 / Georg Szell / Leon Fleisher, piano / Sony

I know this is one of those "required listening" CDs. When I was a kid, Mr. T used to come on between cartoons and pity the fool who doesn't have the Szell/Fleisher Beethoven recordings.
