What are you listening to at the moment?

Had to have one here too...

Sufjan Stevens, Greetings from Michigan, the Great Lake State... Nice alternative rock/alt.country album... The man Stevens plays an amazing amount of instruments on this album... That's a positive point and yet a negative one too, as he puts sometimes too much of them in one song

The Walkmen, "The Rat"

Their first cd Everyone Who Pretended To Like Me Is Gone (great title!) featured some outstanding songs and these new ones sound good too...

and then the Liars, "There's Always Room On The Broom"...
I should get me something from them too, they sound intruiging...
A cd about witches: NICE

Like Suicide-Soundgarden

Just listen to that wah filled solo and envy Kim Thayil's talent.

Blonde Redhead - [In an Expression of the Inexpressible #06] Speed x Distance = Time

I'm really enjoying this group right now. Haunting vocals and quirky song structures. Looking forward to their new album

Zita Swoon, Plage Tattoo/Circumstances, "Little Marie"
Great soundtrack for the play with the same title...
Soundtrack-ish songs mixed with electronic tracks and popsongs, nice

And what I heard from the new Blonde Redhead cd is pretty good, though they're really drifting away from their first noise rock cd's... I don't mind, because I only got to know them with Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons...
