Kristin Hersh - Your Ghost

The only song of Kristin Hersh I've heard is Your Ghost which I find quite addictable. Is there anyone here who'd tell me if that's what's her music like altogehter?

ok, it seems we're no experts on the subject ... and true experts, if there are any out here, keep quiet oh so quiet.

however, i suggest you to listen to Your Ghost!

Kirsten Hersh is really a great songwriter
All her solo albums are pretty cool but also her work with Throwing Muses is great but more rock and influenced by pop/punk/folk/country

Kristin solo work is overall quite sparse singer songwriter/american folk... Good, but I prefer Throwing Muses and btw she's got a new band: 50 Foot Wave, more Throwing Muses-ish and definitely good
btw if you like "Your Ghost" you might want to check out Tanya Donelly's solo work... She was once in the Throwing Muses, Breeders and Belly, but her solo work is a bit more pop-based...
