Okay THUMBS DOWN to all those who don't think Eminem's a good rapper. The question is not about whether or not he's a good person, but if ya'll would like to debate that then lets talk about what he went through as a child. How can anyone possibly expect him not to have some serious psychological issues when his mother emotionaly and physically abused him throughout his entire childhood?! Honestly, the guy has a right to be mad at her and that's the cause of a lot of his angry lyrics. Not to mention his ex-wife Kim who screwed him over as well. I guess he cheated on her when they were in highschool but while they were married she cheated on him and got pregnant...I mean he claims that he was in love with her so what are you gonna do. He's making the best of his life now by taking very well care of his daughter Haley who's turning out quite well and staying out of the spotlight which is his choice. If you're only looking for the bad things that he says in his lyrics then of course you're not gonna like him, but it's listening to the incredible things that he says. He's a great lyricist. He's a poet putting his words to a beat and that's the truth. I don't love him for his looks but for the complete 360 that he's done and for the effort he's put into trying to become a better person and help others who have gone through the same things as he has. Yeah he's got pretty blue eyes...blah blah blah but that's definitely not the point. Just thougth you all should know.

Maybe you should listen to some different rap/hip-hop and then you'll realise how bad Eminem is. I don't mean listening to 50 cent or music like that either because they are just as bad. Like I said before, his lyrics aren't good at all and what he has to say is a load of shit.

Also, even if his background was a little f*cked up, he still chooses what he wants to do. Nobody forces him to abuse gay people etc. You'd think after he got abused that he'd understand what it's like and not abuse others. He hasn't learnt anything from life by the sounds of it.
