I am using Zultrax. It does not have spyware and is easy to understand. My downloads are going fast. I like the program most because of its ease. I understand nothing about computers and still I can use this to share my music and get new music.

Zultrax also promises 'privacy protection' although according to according to my boyfriend that is just impossible. So I have no idea if the RIAA is watching or not.

Well, as they've said in other threads, the people getting sue'd are using kazaa, and I myself have not heard of anyone using anything else (such as soulseek, DC, Klite) getting busted by the RIAA.

Hey Chiron, you're my new best friend!

DC++ f*ckin' rules!!!!!!!

I can't believe it, I've found almost all I was looking for...

I've tried to understand how it works and now I'm addicted!

But it's way more complicated than any soulseek/winmx/emule...

this DC ++ is interesting, is it that hard to use though? I'm no computer guru but I'm no idiot either.

Also I have close to 3000 shared files on soulseek and I'll idle in radiomute chat if you wanna check me out. Rockon8517 and if you send a message saying your from radiomute, to the front of the line for you!

I think that 3000 files is really not enough for DC++ (even for soulseek!), you won't be able to access most of the hubs... (depends on what you share of course, but if it's only music files I'm sure it won't do). No, DC++ is not that hard to understand. I was quite lost with the hubs at the beginning. The real trouble is that you have to respect special rules to access every hub, like a number of max uploads or a minimum share size.

well that 3000 is just the music I listen to, on my other hard drive I have music I don't listen too and thats probably between 1000 and 2000 files, closer to 2000 I'd say. But that it is only music so I guess that'd be a problem. If you think it's still not worth it then I guess I'll expand my collection a bit more on soulseek, just those lines are killing me and I can't always find the stuff I want.

The hubs I mentioned in the previous post have max. only upto 10gb necessary share and 2:1 slot to hub ratio. I'm sure you can have a good time on DC even if you have as little as 500mb of share.
