Styrofoam
What do you think of the Belgian artist Styrofoam, a.k.a. Arne Van Petegem? I'm listening to his latest album I'm What's There To Show That Something's Missing... It's what I heard someone call indietronica, like The Postal Service or The Notwist...
He's on Morr Music and has toured with the Notwist, even replaced their keyboard player for a while, I think...
He makes delicate melodious songs backed by cozily crackling electronic sounds...

Just heard that he's going to record an album for the anniversary of the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels with Ben Gibbard (Death Cab For Cutie) , Bob Mould (Husker Du) & Markus Acher (The Notwist) , Spinvis (Dutch solo project) & Bent Van Looy (frontman from Belgian band Das Pop)... Sounds interesting...

not too fond of Styrofoam, but I do admire the stuff that Morr puts out. I would say the Guitar "sunkissed" is the only album I just wanted to puke on or throw away from that label. Nice and happy sounds generated throughout, sweet.
