MIDI sustain pedal

Hello, I'm new to this forum and have a couple of Questions...

1)
I use a MIDI synth (external hardware) to controll Fruity loops 3.4.6, but the problem is when I press the sustain pedal on the synth, fruity doesn't sustian the note. Other programs recognize the sustian pedal, how do I get Fruity to?

2)
Is it possable to use two different external hardware devices (at the same time) to controll Fruity loops? If so how?

Thanx for any help you may have!!!

1) I believe this is just a compatability issue, I dont think Fruity supports sustain pedals. This has probably been fixed with FL4 Studio. Or, you could record you MIDI stuff with another program that supports pedals, then whack it in Fruity.

2) I dont think it is... can't say I've ever done it.

thanks Froggi. Could you suggest a program (windows) that that can host VSTi's and play soundfonts that I could controll live with a MIDI synth? Can anyone tell me if FL4 studio does support sustain pedals for sure. THANX again.
