Need song title or band name
Sorry I don't have any lyrics, but here is what I do know:
It's an alt-rock song from the late 90's (like 1997), with a slow mid-tempo to it. Male lead singer, mellow, subdued voice, at least in this song.
The most memorable feature of the song however, was the recurrent striking of one of those gizmos that makes a wooden buzzing type sound. It is "U" shaped, and when the top of the "u" is struck with the hand, the small wooden box on the other end of the "u" emits a buzzing sound. That instrument was used throughout the song.
It's not an obscure song for the band, whoever they are. I heard it often enough on the alternative station I listened to (REV 105 in Minneapolis) in the late 90's.
If anyone can identify this song fromn what I have given here, it would be awesome. In the meantime, I'll keep thinking.
